xx magazine

XX magazine is an online magazine which as it says on the front page, does not feature celebrities, heiresses, or british graffiti artists. Instead our mission is to showcase people who are actually busting their ass(es) making things. To this end we present in-depth interviews of 4 artists/designers/creators/collaborators per issue and find out about their creative process and what makes them tick. So far we’ve had 2 issues. The first features the multimedia dance company Troika Ranch which is now based out of Berlin, painter Michelle Hinebrook, design duo Knowear, and inventor/designer/entrepreneur Cas Holman. The second issue features artist Avantika Bawa, designers Elasticbrand, fashion designer Kim Johnson, and choreographer Faye Driscoll. xxmagazine.org
